Who We Are
Our community center is completely operated by volunteers dedicated to serving our community. There are no paid staff and we are not subsidized by any organization. The Warren Township Community Center was formed in September of 2007. It was formerly the New Cumberland Elementary school but came about as a result of the Tuscarawas Valley School District closing the New Cumberland Elementary school, as a cost cutting measure as well as to make other improvements within the district. After discussions between the School Board and the Warren Township Trustees, the school district sold the elementary school to the township. The trustees, along with area volunteers, have been providing a variety of events and activities to build a stronger community. |
